Greg West is the Chief Hardware Engineer at Skylark Labs, where he oversees embedded hardware development for the Synapse AI Box and Scout AI Tower platforms. He ensures ITAR compliance and military specification security standards, and manages hardware manufacturing operations across Texas and Indiana facilities.
Previously, West served as Chief Engineer for Digital Engineering and Cyber at CACI, a $7 billion defense contractor. Before that, he spent four years as Director of Digital Engineering and Cyber at ManTech, and eight years supporting Army readiness and information assurance, plus IT specialist work at Naval Surface Warfare Center CRANE.
West holds CISSP and Certified Ethical Hacker certifications and is a Fully Qualified Navy/USMC Validator. His defense hardware expertise in ITAR, security, and mil-spec standards is exactly what defense contracts require, making him the critical liaison between engineering teams and defense sector customers.
