Vivan Amin is the Head of Product at Skylark Labs, where he leads product strategy across Platforms, Embedded Hardware, and Turnkey Solutions while ensuring defense compliance requirements are met. He serves as the bridge between AI research and productized solutions for defense customers, managing product development coordination with the ML Engineering team.
Previously, Amin served as Director of AI Incubations at Microsoft, focused on converting embodied AI into deployable systems. He brings extensive product development experience from defense primes including L3 Harris, Lockheed Martin, and Boeing. He holds a degree from UC Berkeley along with an Executive AI certification from MIT and cybersecurity training.
Amin published "Embodied AI: From Token Streams to Torque Control" at CVPR 2025. His deep understanding of defense compliance and prime contractor procurement gates is critical for navigating the complex defense procurement process and military standards adherence.
